Michael Cassara Presets is a film-inspired collection of 9 presets designed to bring a slightly moody, cinematic look to your images while preserving natural colors and timeless character. The collection adds depth and a little extra pop without feeling overly stylized or processed.
Built around how Michael is editing his work today, this collection reflects the evolution of his style over 15+ years and more than 300 weddings. While his approach has changed over time, he's always come back to the same things: honest color, great skin tones, natural moments, and images that feel like you can step back into them years later. His goal was to create a pack that captures that look without overcomplicating the editing process.
The presets are built around a more grounded, natural look, which is how Michael typically edits his work. But they also give you the flexibility to push your exposure and take your images in a lighter, airier direction when you want to. You'll still get the same natural color, subtle mood, and film-inspired character while having room to shape the final image to fit your style.
Primarily built for wedding photographers, this collection also works beautifully for couples, portraits, and lifestyle photography. Shelter Island is a bit more muted and neutral than Orient, with softer contrast and a clean, filmic feel. It keeps greens true to life while giving beautiful skin tones, which makes it a great pick for golden hour.
